In short, it was absolutely amazing. ✨
It wasn’t just a “meal” — it was a true experience.
They offer both an à la carte menu and two course options: the Premium Course and the Standard Course.
Honestly, I think choosing the Standard Course would be a missed opportunity. Of course, the meat selection is upgraded and becomes top-tier, but beyond that, the service is on another level. For ¥20,000, you receive hospitality, attention to detail, genuine smiles, and incredible energy from the staff that feels worth far more than the price. 🔥🔥🔥
If you’re coming to Japan, you would truly be missing out if you don’t visit at least once.

“A Kobe beef experience tailored for international visitors.”
Yakiniku Washino in Shinjuku is a Kobe beef restaurant designed with foreign guests in mind. The menu differs from a typical Japanese yakiniku place, offering a more international-friendly selection. The seasoning is milder than traditional Japanese yakiniku, which many overseas visitors may prefer. The soup menu consists mainly of wakame soup, while the kimchi is genuinely delicious.
The Kobe beef platter—four cuts with two slices each—is priced at ¥12,000, which feels a bit expensive. It made me realize how Japan is competing with global prices nowadays.
For foreign visitors, this restaurant will likely be an enjoyable and approachable place to try Kobe beef. For Japanese locals, however, the experience may feel slightly underwhelming in terms of flavor and variety. Still, it’s a great spot to bring overseas friends who want a safe, comfortable introduction to Kobe beef yakiniku.
